Chardonnay Molino delle Balze IGT Toscana 2021

Grape/Blend: 100% Chardonnay in Loc. Castagnoli. 420m vineyards with terroir rich in Albarese stone and limestone.

Wine-making Process: Cold pressing for 48 hours, followed by soft pressing. Fermentation is done in 50% steel and 50% in first and second passage barriques for about 10 days. Malolactic fermentation is followed in part wood and partly in steel. Assemblage and aging at least 10 months in the bottle.

Tasting Notes: A chardonnay that is both tangy and creamy, showing lemons, sliced pears, chamomile and salted butter on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied. Buttery yet zesty. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
