Cabernet Sauvignon “Buriano” IGT Toscana 2017
Grape/Blend: 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon from Buriano vineyard that is 550m above sea level and has medium-textured, rich in rock fragments typical of the Alberese area and limestone.
Wine-making Process: Maceration at a temperature of about 28°C for 10/12 days. Malolactic fermentation In steel followed by aging for atleast 18 months in barriques at various stages, then at least 6 months in steel and 1 year in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of ripe red fruit, black pepper and leather. On the palate it is full-bodied and potent, with a fresh finish that adds elegance with enveloping, powerful tannins. A wine of great character intended for long aging.
A firmly packed cabernet sauvignon with bright cassis, sweet blueberries and cocoa powder on the nose. Medium to full body with juicy berries in the center-palate, then closed by taut, fine-grained tannins. Long and expressive finish. Full of vibe and energy. Drink or hold.
