Valentine’s Day 2023 was one for the books—and we had the incredible honor of being featured on NBC’s “6 in the Mix” to talk all things wine, romance, and sensory exploration! 🍷❤️
I joined the lovely team at Rebel Wine Bar, one of South Florida’s most innovative and stylish wine destinations, to promote a unique twist on wine tasting: a Blindfolded Valentine’s Day Tasting Experience. That’s right—guests were blindfolded, removing sight from the equation and allowing their other senses to truly come alive.
Why Blind Tasting?
Blind tasting isn’t just for sommeliers—it’s an immersive way for anyone to experience wine without preconceived notions. You notice textures, aromas, and nuances you might otherwise miss. And when shared with someone special? It becomes not only fun and educational but deeply intimate.
Whether it was a bold Nero d’Avola, a flirty sparkling rosé, or a rich velvety Amarone (yes, we poured some of our Italian favorites!), each glass was a conversation starter—and a memory in the making.
Wine, Connection, and a Little Mystery
Being invited to showcase this event on NBC was such a meaningful way to share what wine is really about: connection, curiosity, and joy. Events like these reflect everything I love about my work—bringing people together through unforgettable, sensory-driven experiences rooted in culture and authenticity.
A huge thank you to NBC 6 in the Mix, Rebel Wine Bar, and everyone who joined us to taste, explore, and celebrate love—blindfolds and all.
